Spiral portrait

Your photo drawn with one spiral line

One line winds from the middle to the edge, thick where your photo is dark and thin where it is light. Close up it is a spiral, from across the room it is a portrait. It prints in two colours with a single filament swap.

    • Print it flat with 0.2 mm layers. Nothing needs supports.
    • Filament swap: PrusaSlicer reads the swap from the 3MF. In Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or Cura, add a colour change (or pause) at the height in the plan.
    • A light base with a dark line looks like a pencil drawing; a dark base with a light line looks like an engraving. Try both with the swap button.
    • Look at it from two or three metres away: that is where the spiral turns into a face.
