Shapekit is a small, independent site with free 3D models and makers that turn a photo, a town or a route into a print. If you have an idea for doing something together, send an email.
Ideas we're open to
Filament and printer brands
Print one of our models on your printer or in your filament, add a tested print profile to a model page, or run a giveaway with a model that shows off what your material can do.
Selling prints or using a model in a product
The free models are for personal use (CC BY-NC 4.0). If you want to sell prints, use a model in a kit or a product, or print it for customers, ask us for a commercial licence. Tell us which model and roughly how many.
A model or maker for your event or brand
A 3D map of your race route for finishers, a keychain or sign with your logo, a model of your building, or your own version of one of our makers on your website.
Schools, clubs and makerspaces
Lessons and club use are already free. Get in touch if you want to print a model as a group project, need files in another size, or want to run a workshop with one of the makers.
Video makers and writers
Want to build, review or feature a model? We can send renders, the exploded views, build notes and the story behind a design.
What to put in your email
Who you are, what you have in mind and a link to your website or channel. A short email is fine.
Questions about a model or a print?
The same address works for anything else: a question about a model, a maker that doesn't do what you expect, or a part that doesn't fit. The FAQ and the guides may already have the answer. On every model and maker page you can also tell us how your print went.
