Building your design…

    • Print it flat with 0.2 mm layers. Nothing needs supports.
    • Filament swap: PrusaSlicer reads the swap from the 3MF. In Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer or Cura, add a colour change (or pause) at the height in the plan.
    • Matte filament scans better than silk or shiny filament, which reflects the light.
    • Scan it in the Spotify app: Search, then the camera icon.

    Good to know

How do I get the Spotify link?

In Spotify, tap the three dots next to a song, album, playlist, artist or podcast, then Share and Copy link. Paste it here. A short spotify.link address won't work: open it in your browser first and copy the long open.spotify.com address.

    How do I scan it?

In the Spotify app, tap Search, then the camera icon, and point it at the print. A normal phone camera doesn't read Spotify codes, only the Spotify app does.

    Will it scan when printed?

Yes, when the bars stay apart: the maker warns when they get thinner than 0.9 mm. Use two colours that differ a lot, like white on black, and matte filament.

    Is the song title added?

Yes, the maker fills in the title from the link. You can change it and add a second line, like a name or a date.

    Is it free?

Yes, without an account. Spotify is a trademark of Spotify AB; Shapekit is not part of Spotify. The code picture comes from Spotify's own code service.
