1 Your circuit

Pick a circuit above, or upload the GPX file of your own laps.

A GPX file from any sports app, or press Draw it on the map and click along the streets.
How to get the GPX file
  • Strava: open the activity on strava.com, click the ⋯ button, then Export GPX. On a phone: in the app tap Share › Copy link, paste it in your browser and add /export_gpx to the end. Step by step
  • Garmin Connect: open the activity, click the gear icon, then Export to GPX.
  • Komoot: open the tour on komoot.com, click ⋯, then Download GPX.
  • Apple Watch: Apple's Fitness app can't export GPX. Use a free app such as RunGap or HealthFit to save the workout as GPX.
Or search the place

The map fits itself around the track. Drag it or change the area to show more around it.

2 Shape and size

What are you making?

A map to hang or put on a shelf: real building heights, any shape and size.

150 mm
Print it in pieces
For a map bigger than your print bed: it comes in pieces with dovetails that slide together.
3.0 mm

3 What's on the map

2×
flat
1.0×
Roads are never thinner than 0.8 mm (paths 0.6 mm), so a 0.4 mm nozzle can print them.

4 Pins and highlights optional

A click on the map

Choose Highlights and click a building or a street on the map to give it its own colour. Click it again to undo.

    Make your map first.

      • Print flat on the bed, with 0.2 mm layers (or 0.1 mm): all heights in the map are whole 0.2 mm layers, so the colours change exactly where they should.
      • Small details print best with a 0.4 mm nozzle or smaller, 2 walls and 15% infill. No supports needed: the pin is shaped to print without them.
      • 3MF holds every part in its own colour (multi-colour) or the filament changes at the right heights (swaps): PrusaSlicer opens it ready to slice. In other slicers, add the changes from the plan above if they're missing.
      • STL: one file per colour in a ZIP (load them together as one object), or a single file for swaps and one colour.
      • Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, tiles by OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles. Heights from the Terrain Tiles on AWS (SRTM and other open elevation data). Some places have less detail than others.

      Good to know

      Which circuits are there?

Every circuit of the 2026 calendar, from Albert Park to Yas Marina, with Madring in Madrid as the newest. Bahrain and Jeddah are in too, although their 2026 races were called off.

      What is on the map?

The track as a raised line, and around it the real buildings, streets, water, parks and hills from OpenStreetMap and open elevation data. Spa and Interlagos rise and fall like the real thing; Monaco has its harbour.

How do I print it in two colours?

Download the 3MF: the map is one filament and the track with the text is the other, already set up for Bambu Studio, OrcaSlicer and PrusaSlicer. With one nozzle and no AMS, choose One colour or Filament swaps under Colours.

Can I change the colours, the size or the text?

Yes. Under the 3D view you can pick other colours, make it 100 to 250 mm wide, turn it into a coaster or keychain, and change the name and the line under it, for example to the date you were there.

Can I print my own track day?

Yes. Upload the GPX file from your lap timer or watch under Your circuit, and your own line goes on the map.

      Is it free?

Yes: no account, no download limit, no watermark.

Is this an official F1 product?

No. Shapekit is not connected to Formula 1 or any circuit. The track lines come from the open f1-circuits data set, the map from OpenStreetMap.
