Phone & Tablet Stand - a free 3D model from Shapekit

A sturdy stand for a phone or a tablet, upright or sideways. The back support plugs into one of three pairs of sockets for about 55, 65 or 75 degrees, the lip holds a device in a case up to 15 mm thick, and a slot through the lip lets you charge while it stands. The deep foot keeps even a 13-inch tablet steady. Two parts, no screws, no supports.

Parts (each STL is already placed the right way up for printing)
- phone-stand-base.stl: The foot with the lip, a slot for the charging plug, three pairs of sockets marked 75°, 65° and 55°, a groove underneath that takes the cable to the back, and recesses for four rubber feet. Print: Flat on its bottom. No supports: the cable groove and the foot recesses bridge over.
- phone-stand-support.stl: Plugs into the base with two prongs; small ribs in the sockets hold it without wobbling. The device leans on its rounded top edge. Print: Flat, front face up. No supports.

Also needed (not printed)
- Nothing else: no screws, no glue.
- Optional: four self-adhesive rubber bumpers, 10 mm across, for the recesses under the base.
- To charge while it stands: a USB-C or Lightning cable whose plug and strain relief together are up to about 27 mm long (most are 20 to 27 mm). A longer one works too if you lead the cable out at the front.

Print settings: 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm layer height, 3 walls, 15% gyroid infill, PLA or PETG material.

Assembly
1. Print the parts: Both parts print flat without supports. Give the base 4 walls and 25% infill: at about 200 g it stays put when you tap a 13-inch tablet.
2. Add feet: Optional: press four rubber bumpers into the round recesses under the base, so the stand doesn't slide.
3. Choose an angle: Push the prongs of the back support into one pair of sockets until it sits on the base: 75° at the front is the most upright, 55° at the back the flattest.
4. Seat the support: The first time, push firmly. Small ribs in the sockets squash a little and then hold the support without play.
5. Stand your device: Put your phone or tablet on the ledge behind the lip, screen forward, and lean it back against the support. A thick case makes it stand up to 3 degrees steeper. A 13-inch tablet standing upright (portrait) is steadiest at 65 or 75 degrees.
6. Charge it: Put the cable through the slot in the lip and plug it in, let it bend down behind the lip and lead it back through the groove under the base.
